Max

Max Joseph Woodvine, who lives on Oldham Road in Saddleworth and serves as a Parish Councillor has strong personal and family links locally and is standing up for Uppermill, Greenfield, Grasscroft, Lydgate & Friezland.

Since being elected he has been a man for all Saddleworth villages; he has had roads resurfaced, signs erected, hedges cut, grids and gullies unblocked, litter picked, gas lamps repaired and traffic improved.

Max said: “I have worked hard to deal with many bread & butter issues. What matters to you, matters to me. I am from and for our community so ensuring it gets the treatment it deserves has and will continue to be a major priority.”

He continued: “Labour-run Oldham Council threaten our Saddleworth lifestyle and culture so I will always fight for our villages.”

Cllr John Hudson OBE said: “I have been impressed by Max’s work ethic and commitment to Saddleworth during his time on the Parish Council. We need more young people in politics and he does a marvellous job. I call him the young man that is going to save Saddleworth.”
