Save Lees from Labour

Lees village boasts beautiful countryside but this is threatened by Labour-run Oldham Council and Andy Burnham who, together, plan to build thousands of houses on greenbelt across the Borough and Greater Manchester.

Parish Councillor Max Woodvine of Saddleworth, who voted against the Knowls Lane development, has spoken out against the GMSF and Labour plans to bulldoze this beauty.

Cllr Woodvine said:

“Lees is a special little place with countryside stretching up to Hartshead Pike, all of which is greenbelt. Labour don’t like us having this scenery; they want us to have urban sprawl. We need to stop that from happening.”

“I will do everything in my power to stop that from happening.”
